I have zero pets. Our last one, a leopard gecko named Steve was given away in June. This is my great tip for any homeschool mom who needs to get rid of a pet. I brought Steve, his cage, food and heated rock to our local home school used curriculum sale. I put a sign on his cage, "free to a good Christian home". He was lovingly adopted in about 15 minutes. Used book sales are filled with kids who love animals and moms who give me dirty looks.
2. If you could switch places with anyone in the world for one day, who would it be?
I would switch places with Michelle Obama and straiten out her husband...but this is not my political blog. If I couldn't do that, at least I could enjoy an exotic vacation for a day.
3. What is your favorite money saving tip?
Use the library. Well, don't be like me and forget to return things, it does add up. I save so much money in our home by finding books on any given topic and learning for free. Also with interlibrary loan, I can find most books in our state. I am trying not to buy books, well not really. I am trying to buy less books.

4. What do you want your kids to be when they grow up?
I want my kids to become God-honoring men.
5. What is your favorite quote?
There are so many. But the immediate thing that comes to my mind is "if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation." That's found in the Bible and it offers me so much hope. I can be 'In Christ' and I can change. I am not stuck, I can apply God's word to my life, and God will help me overcome whatever I am dealing with. How's that for deep theology?
